On top of this performance, when/if Skype can get small business customer handling right it would cause further acceleration. As a business it's still quite time intensive to handle skype subscriptions. There's more opportunity there for Skype.

44. Read books, abandon the daily paper if you have not done that yet. Book reading is the perfect escape that holds infinite knowledge and imagination, and perfect companion for traveling. They are everywhere, including in the library next to your home. Have list of must reads, and you will find out it just getting longer.

I love this post(!)
The day i lost my TV i gained a lot of spare time.
The day i stopped following news, i gained peace of mind.
I've noticed that when adopting a new technology, its important not to be engulfed, memorized and eventually taken. Just don't fall in love with your screwdriver or angle grinder..
It's all about balance, I guess.

It is not just Australian banks. The situation is far worse in the US. Take a look at a two year chart of Citigroup, Bank of America, Wachovia or Washington Mutual (oh sorry last two no longer exist). Apart from Wells Fargo and US Bank, most of the big banks here are down 90% over the last two years and many are down 100%. Give me a 60% loss any day....

I'd like to see a Super Medal tally! Basically it would be all major sporting events (football, rugby, cricket, surfing, F1, Moto GP, X games, winter games etc etc) for the four years leading up to and including each summer games.

Then look at performances based on outright, per capita, per GDP and per government funding.

Nice work. I threw together some similar data, based on the final medal standings, which shows the Bahamas way out in the lead after normalising for GDP and population.

Aus is sixth after normalising for population, put falls way behind when GDP is considered.
